Edifice Information Management, an information services company specializing in improving the ability of retailers and suppliers to collaborate on point-of-sale (POS) and supply-chain data, announced that it was named a finalist for the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions (VICS) Association’s 12th Annual Collaborative Commerce Achievement Awards in the "Best Third-Party Service Provider" category.
The 2009 VICS Collaborative Commerce Achievement Awards honored outstanding companies whose strategic thinking and leadership have resulted in more effective supply chain practices and partnerships. The awards, which were presented in conjunction with the VICS board of directors dinner on June 3, 2009 at the U Connect Conference in Orlando, Fla., recognized the positive results of companywide dedication to customer satisfaction that have made continuous improvements to the supply chain.
"We’re honored to have been chosen as a finalist for this prestigious award," said Stephen Cornwell, vice president of marketing and product development, Edifice Information Management. "The industry recognition we’ve received through this nomination is a testament to our success in helping retailers and suppliers improve margin, turn and overall business performance through improved collaboration on POS and supply chain data and analysis."
