Cabela’s Partners with Edifice to Provide Expanded Set of POS and Supply Chain Data and Analysis to Its Suppliers

Improved collaboration will enable the retailer and its suppliers to uncover more opportunities for increasing sales, optimizing inventory and improving margins

RIVERDALE, NJ - Sep. 23, 2009 - Edifice Information Management, an information services company specializing in improving the ability of retailers and suppliers to collaborate on point-of-sale (POS) and supply-chain data, today announced that it has partnered with Cabela’s to provide suppliers with an expanded set of POS data, reporting and analysis. Effective immediately, suppliers to Cabela’s will be able to receive Web-based dashboards, decision-ready Excel reports, or data extracts directly from Edifice.

By collaborating on the enhanced information and analysis provided through Edifice, the retailer and its suppliers will improve their abilities to localize assortments to the store level, track and modify new product launches, monitor and adjust promotional activities, better manage stock and sales plans and optimize replenishment programs.
