Edifice Joins VICS
Shows Strong Commitment to Sharing Best Practices and Offering a Unique Perspective in Standards Discussions
RIVERDALE, NJ - Dec. 15, 2008 - Edifice Information Management, an information services company specializing in the collection, analysis and distribution of demand data used by retailers and suppliers to improve supply chain efficiencies, today announced that it has joined the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions (VICS) Association. Through active participation in VICS committees, Edifice will share best practices and offer insights in standards discussions from the unique perspective of an information services provider.
Since 1986, VICS has worked to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire supply chain for companies in retail and consumer-focused industries. By creating voluntary guidelines, VICS has developed new best practices that ultimately lead to lower costs and better availability of products for consumers.
As an information services provider, Edifice brings a unique perspective to VICS' discussions. The company has committed to openly sharing best practices on demand-data collaboration with association members. It will also publish white papers for VICS on the demand-driven retail analysis process, while offering insights and ideas in standards discussions.
