Injinji Expands Use of Edifice Solution
SAN DIEGO – July 29, 2011: Injinji, manufacturer of the patented Performance Toesock designed for sport, outdoor and casual use, today announced that it has expanded the use of Edifice data sharing solutions to include additional sporting goods retailers. Injinji, which has been using Edifice to receive sell through reporting since 2009, anticipates adding retailers to the Edifice reporting system as its business grows. Injinji previously used a proprietary system to generate reporting for its retail customers. The process was not timely or efficient and did not produce all of the analysis the company wanted.
“Edifice has opened a whole new world for Injinji in terms of data collection and analysis. It’s easy to use, totally customizable and does its job very well. And, it will be even more useful as we grow with the system and the system grows with us,” said Mike Lynch, Inventory Analyst at Injinji.
Injinji is using the Edifice POS reporting to standardize the process of obtaining actionable POS information and analysis from its retailers. This reduces the time associated with transforming demand data into useful information. Edifice also helps Injinji and its retail partners get closer to the consumer through improved inventory, merchandising, pricing and promotional decisions.
“Injinji is an emerging leader in shopper engagement, and its use of our system helps the company understand shopping patterns better and faster. Edifice is honored to work with such an outstanding company and is committed to keeping our solutions robust so Injinji and its customers see even more benefits,” said Steve Cornwell, Vice President of Marketing and Customer Support at Edifice.
