PSI 91 Launches on Edifice Technology

Springfield, MA – October 18, 2011: PSI 91, the exclusive licensee of inflatable sports balls for athletic performance brand Under Armour, today announced that it has deployed data sharing solutions from Edifice Information Management to generate sales and other reports for its major sporting goods retailer clients. PSI 91, which began shipping product in April 2011, started implementing the Edifice reporting system in August.

"We signed up with Edifice as soon as volume and customer count warranted, because having week to week sell through data is invaluable to helping us intelligently manage our business. The near real-time consumer sell-through that Edifice provides allows us to anticipate customer reorders by SKU, which keeps our inventory in line and positively affects our cash flow," said Dan Touhey, President of PSI 91, who had worked with Edifice at his previous company.

PSI 91 is using the Edifice POS reporting to standardize the process of obtaining actionable POS information and analysis from its retailers. This reduces the time associated with transforming demand data into useful information. Edifice also helps PSI 91 and its retail partners get closer to the consumer through improved inventory, merchandising, pricing and promotional decisions.

“By using state-of-the-art technology practically from the start of its operations, PSI 91 has created a very sound retail reporting foundation. The Edifice team is committed to working with PSI 91 to provide the right solutions and support that help the company grow quickly and profitably,” said Steve Cornwell, Vice President of Marketing and Customer Support at Edifice.
