Rapidly Growing Boscov's Department Store Chain Chooses Edifice

Dear Vendor,

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new POS Reporting and EDI 852 program. We have partnered with Edifice Information Management to provide you with improved sales and inventory reports and to replace our current method of distributing EDI 852s.

On September 17, 2006 we will discontinue direct distribution of all EDI 852s and all merchant generated sales and inventory reports. Edifice will be your single source for all POS information. Sign up with Edifice by September 4, 2006 to guarantee that you begin receiving your EDI 852s or sales and inventory reports on September 17, 2006 and you will receive the first 30 days of service at no charge.

Edifice Reports are delivered in formats that allow you to quickly analyze your product by department, class, store, color, size, and more. Reports include preformatted analyses such as Top Products, Top Stores, Stock-to-Sales, Monthly Trending, Stock-out Exposure, and more. The reports are delivered with built-in tools that allow you to customize views to meet your specific needs and drill-down to the store and size level.

The Edifice EDI 852 is a version 4010 VICS document and can be delivered via FTP, sFTP, AS2 or VAN. You may be able to reduce your VAN fees by accepting the document via FTP, sFTP or AS2.

Sign up by completing the form enclosed in the POS Reporting and EDI 852 Program Guide.
To speak with an Edifice representative, contact Paul Dangelmajer by phone at (973) 616-2929 x232 or by email at PDangelmajer@EdificeInfo.com.

We are confident that you will find tremendous value in this new program. Our meetings will now revolve around fact-based analysis, which will allow us to effectively share ideas for improving assortments, optimizing inventory, and determining plans for the upcoming seasons. The improvement in planning and forecasting will ultimately improve the customer experience.

We look forward to a prosperous relationship with your organization as we continue to strive to make improvements that benefit both of our companies.

Sincerely,

Mr. Sandy Mac Gilvray
