Edifice Information Management Welcomes Carhartt to Their POS Based Retail Analysis Service


Edifice Information Management announced today that Carhartt has selected their POS Information Services to improve margins and better retailer collaboration.
Carhartt, established in 1889, has become North America's leading work-wear and rugged outdoor apparel company. Some of Carhartt's better-known products are their durable pants and jackets. Carhartt also produces rugged t-shirts, gloves, belts, suspenders, jeans, hats, and even children's wear for the tough youngsters.

Carhartt will use the Edifice POS Information Services to view detail about their product lines. Edifice delivers this information in an easy-to-use MS Excel workbook that enables Carhartt to use drag-and-drop, filter, and sort functionality to identify top and bottom performing products by style/color/size at the corporate level all the way down to their individual stores.

"Using the Edifice POS services, Carhartt can view and use key product information to quickly make decision about design, category mix, merchandising, and shipping," said Nathan Bruce, Edifice Business Intelligence Manager. "Sales and inventory information by UPC at the store level will be available in report packages every week."

Suppliers can choose from numerous reports in the Edifice Report Library including: Retailer Sales Comparison, Divisional Sales Comparison, Store Stock-out Exposure, Store Stock-to-Sales Analysis, Product Shipped-not-Selling, Markdown Exposure, Best Selling Product, Climate Analysis, Mall Analysis and many more.
