Joe’s Sports, Outdoor & More has partnered with Edifice Information Management
Joe’s Sports, Outdoor & More has partnered with Edifice to provide a POS based Retail Analysis solution. Each week Joe’s sends Edifice raw data about their sales activity and Edifice creates reports that are deployed through a web-based portal to their merchants and suppliers. Through the Edifice Portal, Joe’s and their suppliers can collaborate on a single source of POS information. This new program replaces reports currently generated by Joe’s Merchant Teams and Edifice will become the single reporting source for all Joe’s POS reports and information.
The Northwestern retailer is becoming a premier destination for sports & outdoor gear, as well as top quality roof racks and other car accessories. Joe's carries many name brands including asics, Leatherman, Under Armour, and Columbia Sportswear.
Edifice will collect POS data at the UPC / store level for all suppliers. Each supplier
will have access to their own POS information in a pre-defined report suite that includes
analysis highlighting opportunities for increasing sales, improving margins and lowering
inventories. Joe's internal staff (merchandising, sales, planning, operations) will have
access to the same POS information and analysis as the suppliers. Working from identical
data will allow management to improve the effectiveness of the Joe's / supplier meetings
and will enable closer collaboration.
